Today’s youth are one’s who are mostly using the network sites by communicating posting and creating images that attract other youth as for I didn’t know how to use a computer not until I started working with the Cree school board since I am slowly working up with a computer and it is really fun to work with these computers I guess we can say that we can teach old dog new tricks after all. Media is a powerful tool when we want our voices to be heard to the public because everyone is using a media to spread their word to the public. I know one young man who is recruiting people to fight for the Rupert river he is using facebook to recruit people to stop the diversion of the Rupert river.www.savetherupert.org/  The campaign is growing

because many young people don’t want the rupert river to be destroyed because of the global warming the we face every year and Cree hunting grounds will destroyed once the river is diversed. The diverson will affect the traditional way of life of the Cree people of James Bay the river will no longer drinking and mercury will rise again animals habitat will be under water once again.
